1. Our Return Principles

Under Swiss law, online purchases do not automatically include a general right of withdrawal unless expressly granted by the seller.

At WATCHOYSTER, we stand behind the accuracy of our listings and the quality of our watches.

Returns are accepted where there is a legitimate reason, as outlined below.

2. When a Return May Be Requested

As stated in our product listings, you may request a return within 14 days of delivery if:

  • The watch materially differs from the description or photographs provided at the time of sale;

  • The watch has a defect that was not disclosed prior to purchase;

  • The watch has a technical malfunction that existed at the time of delivery and was not described in the listing.

This 14-day period applies to cases of non-conformity or undisclosed defects.

Minor deviations, manufacturer tolerances, age-related characteristics, or normal wear consistent with the stated condition do not constitute grounds for return.

3. Inspection & Notification

We kindly ask customers to inspect the watch immediately upon receipt.

If any issue is identified, WATCHOYSTER must be notified without undue delay and in any event within the 14-day period.

Notification must be submitted in writing to:

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Detailed description of the issue

  • Clear photographic and/or video evidence

Each case is reviewed individually and professionally.

4. Return Procedure

Returns require prior written confirmation from WATCHOYSTER.

If approved:

  • Return instructions will be provided individually

  • The watch must be returned in the same condition as delivered

  • The shipment must be securely packaged, fully insured, and trackable

Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless non-conformity is confirmed.

5. Refunds & Resolution

Upon receipt and inspection of the watch, WATCHOYSTER will determine the appropriate resolution in accordance with Swiss law.

Depending on the case, we may:

  • Repair the watch;

  • Replace the watch (if available);

  • Offer a reasonable price adjustment;

  • Or issue a refund where contract rescission is justified.

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method where technically possible.

6. One-Year WATCHOYSTER Warranty

In addition to statutory rights under Swiss law, all watches are covered by a 12-month WATCHOYSTER commercial warranty starting from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers:

  • Mechanical movement malfunction

  • Functional defects not caused by misuse

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Cosmetic changes

  • Strap wear

  • Water damage beyond stated water resistance

  • Damage caused by accident, negligence, or unauthorized repairs

Warranty service is provided through WATCHOYSTER’s service network.

7. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights under applicable Swiss law.
